How DAPresses approaches APCs
In line with UNESCO Open Science, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion policy, DAPresses prioritises widening access for academics, researchers, scholars and students, including those in low and medium income countries based on the World Bank GNI classification. We go the extra mile to support people with original research from countries where governments, institutions and funders do not cover APCs.
- Desk review by the Editor-in-Chief and Sectional Editor Leads, and peer review by experts, are free of charge.
- Written feedback is provided to the corresponding author to support improvement of the manuscript or the research process.
- APCs are requested only when a manuscript has been accepted for publication.
- A 50% discount applies to all authors and all currencies until 31 December 2026.
